The first of 5 Spring League matches took place yesterday on Field Lake with 13 anglers taking part.
Ed Bryant drew peg 1 and took to the Pellet Waggler with success, catching regularly throughout the match, although a quiet last hour cost him as he was beaten by 2lbs into second place by Rob Kerslake on peg 10.
